The District Administration Attock has honoured renowned journalist Syed Zigham-ul-Talaf with a special shield in recognition of his contributions to journalism, public-interest reporting and highlighting issues faced by local communities.
The recognition was part of an initiative by the district administration to acknowledge individuals who have made positive and constructive contributions in different fields, including social, political, religious, regional and journalistic affairs.
Chief Officer Municipal Committee Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan presented the special shield to Syed Zigham-ul-Talaf.
The award recognised his efforts to highlight public issues, raise his voice for their resolution and offer constructive guidance aimed at improving the performance of government institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan said responsible and constructive journalism plays an important role in society.
