Indian singer Anuv Jain has recalled his memorable meeting with Pakistani music star Atif Aslam, describing the experience as one of the best and most remarkable moments of his life.
Jain shared the details during a recent podcast, recalling how he met Atif during a music tour in Nepal earlier this year. The two singers had already performed together at a concert in Kathmandu, but their interaction continued after the show.
From barbecue dinner to late-night jam session
According to Jain, Atif Aslam invited him and several other people to a barbecue dinner after the concert. The casual gathering later turned into an informal music session that continued late into the night.
Jain had also shared a photograph from the gathering on social media in April. He said the picture was taken around 3 a.m., after Atif and his band transformed the dinner into a roughly two-and-a-half-hour jam session.
About 20 people reportedly attended the gathering and enjoyed the music.
Jain calls Atif Aslam a legend
Speaking about the experience, Jain described Atif Aslam as a “legend” and said watching him sing from just a few steps away was an extraordinary experience.
The encounter followed their joint performance at a concert in Kathmandu, Nepal, where the two singers shared the stage before attending the private musical gathering.
