An important meeting was held at the CDA headquarters under the chairmanship of Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Director General Civil Defense Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting was attended by CDA Member Administration and Estate Talat Mahmood, Member Finance Tahir Naeem, Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Planning Dr. Khalid Hafeez along with other senior officers.

During the meeting, CDA Member Finance briefed on the financial performance, stating that on the direction of Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, special measures were taken at the end of the fiscal year 2024-25 for the convenience of citizens. The CDA kept the “One Window Facilitation Center” open continuously from 9 AM to 12 PM, resulting in citizens making timely payments of property charges, development charges, water charges, remaining installments for commercial and residential plots, transfer fees and other related charges.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that the revenue generated will be spent on the development of Islamabad’s citizens, beautification of the city, and improvement of basic infrastructure. He said that these funds will be used to enhance the water supply system, repair roads, improve the drainage system and promote projects related to parks and green areas. He further added that the funds will also be utilized to complete ongoing development projects on time.
Key directions were issued during the meeting for the fiscal year 2025-26 including improving civic facilities, environmentally friendly initiatives under the “Green Islamabad” campaign, eco-friendly public transport, accelerated completion of development projects, and expansion of digital services. Chairman CDA emphasized that the online system will be further improved to better serve citizens, ensuring easy access to all facilities.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa appealed to citizens to play their full role in the city’s development and fulfill all their legal obligations on time. He said that this success of the CDA is the result of the institution’s improved governance and the cooperation of citizens. The CDA is fully committed to making Islamabad a modern, sustainable, and beautiful city, and further improvement measures will be taken in the coming days.
