South Waziristan: Wana Welfare Association (WAWA), the shelter of orphans in the Lower South Waziristan district, organized an Eid Milan party on Sunday for all the General Council members at Umma Children Academy Wana.
In which a large number of Wana Welfare Association General Council members participated.
On the occasion of this Eid Millan party, a wonderful traditional dance (Attan) was also performed by the members of the WAWA General Council.
Traditional sports competitions were also arranged by the organizers of the Eid Millan party, which included Waziri’s famous game (Khasai), tug of war and volleyball.
The organizers of the Eid Millan party also organized a food and drink program for all the General Council members.
Wana Welfare Association (WAWA) President Rahmat Ullah, General Secretary Jalal Wazir, and Owais Wazir told the media on this occasion that the Eid Millann party was celebrated with great enthusiasm by all the WAWA members, the participants were thoroughly entertained with traditional and cultural games.
President Rahmat Ullah Wazir said that the Wana Welfare Association organizes the Eid Millan party every year in which all the members participate with great enthusiasm.
On the other hand, General Secretary Jalal Wazir said that around about 700 orphan students are studying in Umma Children Academy Wana where they are not only getting free education.
He said that hostel, transport and free food facilities are available for these orphan students on behalf of Wana Welfare Association.
He further said that the mission of Wana Welfare Association is that every boy and every girl in school.
