Pakistani Passport Holders Can Still Travel to 30 Countries With Ease Despite Low Global Ranking

Despite its relatively weak global ranking, the Pakistani passport still allows citizens to travel to 30 countries without a traditional visa or through simplified entry procedures, according to the latest Henley Passport Index.

The Henley Passport Index July 2026 report ranks Pakistan’s passport at 100th globally, while confirming that Pakistani travelers can access a number of destinations through visa-free entry, visa on arrival, or electronic travel authorization (eTA).

Pakistan Remains 100th in Global Passport Ranking

According to the report, Pakistan retained the 100th position in the global passport rankings. The country’s passport had improved from 103rd place in 2025 before experiencing fluctuations during 2026.

Henley & Partners noted that passport rankings change over time as countries revise visa policies, sign new travel agreements, and update international entry regulations.

Countries Pakistanis Can Visit Without a Traditional Visa

Pakistani passport holders currently have access to 30 destinations through one of three travel arrangements:

Visa-Free Countries

Barbados, Cook Islands, Dominica, Haiti, Micronesia, Montserrat, Rwanda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, The Gambia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vanuatu.

Visa on Arrival

Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde Islands, Comoro Islands, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Maldives, Nepal, Niue, Palau Islands, Samoa, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Timor-Leste, and Tuvalu.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Kenya, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka.

Singapore Retains Top Position

The report ranks Singapore as the world’s most powerful passport, offering visa-free access to 192 destinations. Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates share second place in the latest global rankings.

Travel requirements can change at short notice, and travelers are advised to verify the latest entry rules with the relevant authorities before making travel plans.
