Three cheque dishonour cases have reportedly been registered in Lahore against PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar, who has also faced harassment allegations from actor Momina Iqbal.
The cases were registered at Defence A Police Station in Lahore on the complaint of a woman identified as Mah Rukh Arif, according to reports.
The complaints are separate from the harassment allegations linked to actor Momina Iqbal. Police records cited in the reports said the three cases relate to dishonoured cheques.
According to the FIR text, three cheques worth a total of Rs270 million were allegedly dishonoured. Further legal proceedings are expected to determine the status of the complaints and the position of the accused.
There was no immediate detailed statement from Saqib Chadhar available in the provided report regarding the latest cases.
The development comes as the lawmaker remains in the public spotlight over a separate dispute involving allegations made by Momina Iqbal. Chadhar has previously been linked to legal proceedings and counterclaims related to that matter.
