Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta has alleged that Nana Patekar paid Rakhi Sawant between Rs250,000 and Rs300,000 to discredit her during the 2018 #MeToo controversy.

Tanushree Dutta has made fresh allegations about the controversy that emerged during India’s #MeToo movement in 2018, claiming that actress Rakhi Sawant received money from actor Nana Patekar to damage her reputation.

According to reports, Dutta made the allegations in a video shared on Instagram. She claimed that Sawant collected between Rs200,000 and Rs250,000 in cash from Patekar’s residence in Mumbai two days before holding a press conference against her.

Dutta said the information had been provided to her by Rajshree More, who she described as a close friend of Sawant.

The actress also recalled experiencing significant emotional distress during that period, saying the allegations against her had added to her difficulties.

However, neither Rakhi Sawant nor Rajshree More has publicly responded to these latest allegations, according to the report.

The claims remain allegations, and no independent verification of the alleged payment is provided in the report.
