The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has returned to the spotlight after his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, made fresh claims about information she says she recently received from a person involved in his post-mortem.
In a video message, Shweta alleged that the person who conducted Sushant’s post-mortem told her that a stun gun had been used, the actor’s leg was broken, significant force had been used against him and his eyes had been injured.
Shweta did not identify the person she said provided the information, nor did she provide supporting documentation or details that would independently establish the claims.
She also spoke about the emotional difficulty of dealing with the death of someone close to her, saying she did not want to be consumed by hatred, revenge or resentment. Instead, she said she wanted to stand for love, faith, goodness and God.
The latest allegations differ from publicly reported findings from the 2020 post-mortem. At the time, reports citing the final examination said there were no struggle marks or external injuries on Sushant’s body, while the cause of death was reported as asphyxia due to hanging. Those findings did not establish foul play.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020, aged 34. His death has remained the subject of public discussion, while his sister has continued to raise questions and seek answers about the circumstances surrounding it.
Shweta’s latest statements should therefore be understood as claims attributed to her, rather than as independently verified findings from a newly released post-mortem report.
