MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has once again attracted attention with a cryptic comment about relationships, saying that people can be deceptive while animals remain loyal.
According to Indian media reports, Sunita made the remarks while speaking to reporters at Mumbai airport. Referring to her pet dog Winter, she said the animal always comes to see her off and stays close to her.
Sunita reportedly said that people do not always value the love they receive, while pets remain affectionate and loyal. She encouraged people to show love to animals, describing them as better companions than humans.
Although Sunita did not name anyone or directly link her comments to her marriage, the remarks quickly drew attention on social media because of ongoing speculation surrounding her relationship with Govinda.
Rumours about the couple’s marriage have intensified in recent weeks after the two were reportedly seen separately during the Ganpati festival. Their public appearances have prompted further speculation about the state of their relationship.
Sunita was also recently seen outside a Mumbai family court with her son Yashvardhan. Govinda’s manager later said that Sunita had gone there in connection with withdrawing a divorce case.
Neither Sunita nor Govinda has publicly confirmed that the couple is heading for divorce. Her latest remarks therefore remain open to interpretation and should not be treated as confirmation of any marital dispute.
