Spotify also said it plans to expand its Audiobooks offering to more than 180 markets by the end of 2026.

Alex Norström, Spotify’s Co-CEO, said the company had delivered on its commitments during the quarter and continued to see opportunities for growth as it expands the range of content available on the platform.

Co-CEO Gustav Söderström said Spotify is well positioned for what he described as the “agentic age,” arguing that entertainment differs from routine tasks because people generally want to spend their time actively enjoying music, podcasts and books rather than having them summarized or handled by an agent.

Spotify, which launched in 2008, said its platform now offers access to more than 100 million tracks and operates across 184 markets.

The company reported that it now has 788 million users globally, including 306 million Premium subscribers.
