Shangla Honors Its Teachers

SHANGLA (Aftab Hussain): Various government educational institutions across Shangla observed World Teachers’ Day with special ceremonies to acknowledge the valuable educational and تربیتی services of teachers.

District Education Officer Shangla Muhammad Aurangzeb, along with officers from the district administration, attended several events and paid tribute to teachers for their contributions to educating and training the younger generation.

Teachers who demonstrated outstanding performance were presented with certificates of appreciation, shields and honorary awards in recognition of their services.

The main ceremony was held at Government Centennial Model High School Alpuri, where Deputy Commissioner Shangla Muhammad Abdullah Shah, District Police Officer Akramullah, District Education Officer Muhammad Aurangzeb, educationists, Assistant Commissioner Alpuri Abdul Qayyum, teachers and other officials participated.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Abdullah Shah and DPO Akramullah said teachers are the true builders of a nation. They said educators not only provide knowledge to students but also play a fundamental role in character building and the development of future generations.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the deputy commissioner distributed awards and certificates of appreciation among teachers.

Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Alpuri Abdul Qayyum also attended Teachers’ Day ceremonies at Government Primary School Pagorai, Government Higher Secondary School Lilownai and Government Girls Higher Secondary School Lilownai, where teachers were presented with certificates and shields in recognition of their services.

Similar events were organized in Sub-Division Puran, Sub-Division Besham, Chakisar and other tehsils in collaboration with the Education Department and local administration.

A ceremony in Puran, chaired by the assistant commissioner, was attended by SDEO Martung Rafiullah, SDEO Puran Ameer Hassan, the former chairman of Puran, ASDEO Puran and a representative of P&D.

A total of 24 hardworking and dedicated teachers were presented honorary awards in recognition of their outstanding services.

In Chakisar, the Additional Assistant Commissioner attended a ceremony at Government Centennial Model High School Chakisar, where teachers were recognized for their hard work, dedication and educational contributions through certificates and shields.

The Assistant Commissioner Revenue also attended ceremonies at Government High School Karora, Government High School Kuz Kana and Government Higher Secondary School Shahpur, paying tribute to teachers for their outstanding services.

Officials of the district administration emphasized that teachers do more than transfer knowledge from textbooks. They shape the character of generations and help build a brighter future for society.

They said the dedication, sincerity and sense of responsibility demonstrated by teachers form a foundation for social progress and national development.
