ISLAMABAD: Shahzad Ali Shah has been elected a member of the Executive Committee of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), drawing congratulations from business leaders across Pakistan who expressed hope that he would play an active role in addressing traders’ concerns and promoting commercial activities.
Following the recently held chamber elections, business community representatives Muhammad Qasim Khan, Syed Ali Raza, Malik Nadeem, Tasawwar Hussain, Syed Azhar Hussain, Hassan Askari, Jawad Farooqi, Nadir Khan, Ashfaq Iqbal, Suleman Shafi and Umair Hassan congratulated Shah on his election.
In a joint expression of support, the business leaders acknowledged his previous efforts to address issues faced by traders and protect the interests of the business community.
They said his election to the LCCI Executive Committee had raised expectations among traders and business representatives, particularly regarding the resolution of longstanding commercial challenges.
The leaders expressed confidence that Shah would continue working for the welfare of traders, the promotion of business activities and improvements in the business environment.
Shahzad Ali Shah pledges to address traders’ issues
Speaking after his election, Shahzad Ali Shah thanked the business community for its support and reaffirmed his commitment to representing traders’ interests through the Lahore Chamber.
He described the opportunity to serve alongside newly elected LCCI President Ali Hassam as an honour and said he would work closely with the chamber leadership to address issues affecting businesses.
Shah said cooperation between chamber representatives and the wider business community would be important in identifying challenges and pursuing practical solutions.
He pledged to make every possible effort to safeguard traders’ interests, promote commercial activities and contribute to improving the overall business environment.
The newly elected executive committee member also expressed his intention to remain engaged with business representatives and work towards resolving the difficulties faced by traders.
