MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has retained his position as India’s richest actor despite a significant decline in his estimated wealth over the past year, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2026.
The latest list estimates Khan’s wealth at ₹10,000 crore, down from ₹12,490 crore in the 2025 edition. The difference amounts to a reported decline of ₹2,490 crore, or roughly 20%.
Despite the decline, Khan remains at the top among actors featured in the latest Hurun ranking. Amitabh Bachchan is listed with estimated wealth of ₹4,000 crore, followed by Salman Khan at ₹3,000 crore and Hrithik Roshan at ₹2,500 crore.
Khan’s estimated wealth includes his business interests, particularly Red Chillies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports, alongside income and assets associated with his entertainment career.
The reported figures are wealth estimates rather than independently audited personal balance sheets, and valuations can vary between different editions of rich lists depending on the assets and businesses considered.
Khan has remained one of the most prominent figures in the Indian entertainment industry and is currently preparing for his upcoming film King, which is scheduled for release in December 2026.
