Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan said he was pleased to live up to the confidence shown in him by the selectors and team management after playing a match-winning role against England in the fourth ODI of the tri-nation series.
Speaking to PCB Digital after the match, Shadab said he initially did not realise that the ball had taken the edge of his bat. He said Haris Rauf insisted that Pakistan should take a review.

“I am happy to live up to the trust shown by the selectors and team management,” Shadab said.
Haris Rauf said the team believed from the beginning that Pakistan could win the match. He added that during the final moments, he told Shadab that he would finish the game himself.
Praising Shadab’s performance, Haris said the all-rounder’s batting was “world class” and described the victory as a major moment of happiness for the people of Pakistan.
