Rawalpindi: Pakistani security forces neutralized nineteen militants linked to Indian Sponsored Terrorism in Pakistan during three separate operations on 9–10 September in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The first operation took place in Guluno, Mohmand District, after intelligence reports confirmed the militants’ presence. Security forces engaged the militants in intense combat. As a result, fourteen Indian-backed Khwarij were killed, and weapons and ammunition were recovered.
In North Waziristan’s Datta Khel area, security forces conducted another intelligence-based operation. They confronted the militants and neutralized four more Khwarij after a brief firefight.
A third encounter occurred in Bannu District, where security forces eliminated one more militant. These Khwarij were actively involved in numerous terrorist attacks in the region. Furthermore, authorities continue sanitization operations to locate and remove any remaining threats.
The Pakistani military emphasized its commitment to eradicating Indian Sponsored Terrorism in Pakistan. Security officials stated that ongoing operations aim to secure Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and protect civilians from extremist threats. In addition, recovered weapons and ammunition demonstrate the militants’ preparation for further attacks.
These coordinated operations highlight the professionalism and effectiveness of Pakistan’s security forces in combating terrorism. By maintaining constant vigilance and conducting targeted operations, the authorities aim to completely eliminate the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism in Pakistan.
