Former wife of Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim, Saniya Ashfaq, has spoken publicly about her marriage, separation and allegations of infidelity, sharing details of the circumstances surrounding the breakdown of their relationship.

In an interview, Saniya claimed that she faced marital difficulties during her pregnancy with their third child. She alleged that Imad took her and their children to England during the pregnancy and left them at her mother’s home, saying that the two needed to spend some time apart.

Saniya Shares Account of Separation

According to Saniya, Imad later announced their separation while she was staying at her mother’s home with their three children.

She alleged that during this period Imad was spending time with social media influencer Naila Raja and had already developed a relationship with another woman. These claims were made by Saniya during the interview and have not been independently established.

Saniya also said that after reports about the alleged relationship emerged, several people contacted her with messages and various claims concerning Naila Raja.

She stressed that, in her view, responsibility for the situation could not be placed solely on another woman and that Imad Wasim also had responsibility for the breakdown of the marriage.

Efforts to Save the Marriage

Saniya said she returned to Pakistan despite receiving the first divorce notice, hoping that seeing their child might soften her former husband’s position.

She claimed that this did not happen and that she continued trying until the end to save the marriage, but Imad was not interested in maintaining the relationship for her or their children.

The allegations and personal account in the interview were made by Saniya Ashfaq. Imad Wasim and Naila Raja’s responses to these claims were not included in the source report.
