Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana has delivered another impressive bowling performance in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2026 while representing Perth Scorchers.

Fatima Sana, who is the second Pakistani cricketer to feature in Australia’s premier women’s T20 competition, made an impact in her second over by dismissing De Klerk for 14 runs.

The wicket came through an incoming delivery that De Klerk attempted to sweep but was trapped leg before wicket (LBW). She also reviewed the decision, but the review proved unsuccessful.

Perth Scorchers posted a competitive total of 183 runs for the loss of three wickets after batting first.

In response, Sydney Thunder were bowled out for 166 runs, handing Perth Scorchers a victory.

This was not Fatima Sana’s first impressive performance in the tournament. In an earlier match, Perth Scorchers also defeated Melbourne Renegades following an excellent bowling display by the Pakistani captain.

Her consistent performances are making a strong impression in the Australian T20 competition and highlighting Pakistan’s growing presence in international women’s cricket.
