The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has appointed Muhammad Sajid Khan Afridi as President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Football Association (KPFA) for a two-year term.
According to a notification issued by the Pakistan Football Federation, Afridi will be responsible for promoting, organizing and developing football across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the provincial, regional, district and grassroots levels.
His responsibilities will include supporting players, coaches, referees and football academies, ensuring transparent competitions, creating opportunities for young footballers and improving coordination with football organizations across the province.
The PFF expressed the expectation that under Muhammad Sajid Khan Afridi’s leadership, effective measures would be taken to strengthen football activities and identify emerging young talent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The appointment comes as part of efforts to further develop the sport at grassroots level and provide greater opportunities for aspiring footballers across the province.
