Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslims across Russia, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan and acknowledging the community’s religious and social contributions.
In a message released on the occasion, Putin said the festival reflects values of compassion, mercy, and moral responsibility, which he described as central to Islamic traditions and widely observed by Muslim communities throughout the country.The president noted that Eid-ul-Fitr has long held cultural and spiritual significance for Muslims in Russia, who celebrate the occasion within families and communities while preserving historical traditions.

The Russian leader expressed appreciation for Muslims serving in the country’s armed forces, as well as those supporting the families of service members. He described their role as part of broader national efforts.Putin concluded his message by wishing Muslims good health, success, and well-being on the occasion of Eid.
