PESHAWAR — Romana Asad Khan, Deputy Director (BS-18) at the Press Information Department (PID) Peshawar, has been assigned the additional charge of the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), Regional Office Peshawar.
According to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Romana Asad Khan will oversee the affairs of DEMP’s Peshawar regional office alongside her existing responsibilities at PID.
Following the assignment of her additional responsibilities, Film Editor Shah Khan, accompanied by officers and officials of DEMP Peshawar, welcomed Romana Asad Khan and congratulated her on taking charge.
Officials also presented her with a bouquet on the occasion.
Speaking after assuming the additional responsibility, Romana Asad Khan said she would work to further improve the department’s administrative affairs and strengthen the effective dissemination of information.
She also expressed her commitment to promoting Pakistan’s positive and soft image through the department’s work.
The additional charge places her in responsibility for DEMP’s regional operations in Peshawar while she continues to serve as Deputy Director at PID Peshawar.
