TIMERGARA, March 24: Rescue 1122 handled 65 emergencies in Lower Dir during the Eid al-Fitr week, providing timely response and medical assistance to dozens of affected individuals, officials said.
According to an official report, 61 people received emergency aid during the period, while 23 patients were shifted to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Breakdown of emergencies
The report said the cases included 23 medical emergencies, 11 road traffic accidents, one fire incident and four recovery operations, along with responses to other emergency calls across the district.

Rescue teams remained operational throughout the Eid holidays, ensuring uninterrupted services during the festive period.

District Emergency Officer Sanaullah commended the rescue staff for maintaining professionalism and timely response during Eid.
