SKARDU: Member of the National Assembly Dr. Shaista Khan Jadoon has said that the journey of development, prosperity, and public service in Gilgit-Baltistan will continue under the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, urging voters to support the party’s candidates in the upcoming regional elections.
Addressing a public gathering in Skardu during the election campaign, Dr. Shaista Khan Jadoon said the PML-N’s record in national development and infrastructure projects remains a key reason for public support for the party.
The event was attended by MNA Syeda Nousheen Iftikhar, PML-N Women’s Wing President Nuzhat Aamir, and MPA Amna Sardar.
Development agenda highlighted
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadoon said the PML-N had played a significant role in Pakistan’s development journey and highlighted the party’s contribution to major infrastructure and public welfare projects.
She also referred to the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, stating that the party’s development-oriented policies continue to resonate with voters.
Appeal to voters ahead of June 7 elections
The PML-N leader expressed confidence that voters in Gilgit-Baltistan would support the party’s candidates in the elections scheduled for June 7.
She said the public response received during the campaign reflected confidence in the party’s vision and development agenda. According to her, continued investment in infrastructure, connectivity, and public services would remain central to the party’s priorities for the region.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadoon concluded her address by urging voters to participate in the electoral process and support candidates whom they believe can contribute to the development and prosperity of Gilgit-Baltistan.
