Peshawar Electric Supply Company has declared nine more feeders load-shedding free, providing 24-hour electricity supply to consumers connected with those feeders, the company said.
The PESCO load-shedding free feeders include Pipal Mandi, Karkhano, Gaju Khan, Naway Kalay, Sheikhan, Asban, PIDC, Shahi Khel and Baja Express. The announcement affects consumers in areas served by these feeders and is part of the company’s effort to reduce power outages during the summer season.
According to a PESCO statement dated June 15, 2026, the latest addition has taken the total number of feeders declared load-shedding free to 27 during the past four months.
The company said consumers connected to the newly added feeders will receive continuous electricity supply.
PESCO Chief Executive Officer said efforts to declare more feeders load-shedding free were being accelerated on the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Energy Power Division Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Laghari.
The CEO said PESCO Board of Directors Chairman Himayatullah Khan was also taking interest in reducing load shedding across the company’s service region, particularly to provide relief to consumers during the summer.
According to PESCO, anti-theft operations carried out on the relevant feeders during the past four months helped make the latest decision possible.
The company said anti-theft operations are continuing on other feeders and expressed hope that more feeders will be declared load-shedding free in the future.
