Australian captain Pat Cummins, after leading his team to a remarkable victory over India in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy, has now secured his place among Australia’s greatest captains. During the series, Cummins engaged in an interesting conversation with broadcasters.
A female journalist commented, “You have a massive fan following in India, especially among women. Many women have a crush on you, even my best friend and I.” The journalist continued, saying her best friend messaged her, expressing jealousy about meeting Cummins, despite knowing he was married. She then asked how he handles the attention from women.
In response, Cummins said, “I have no idea about that, I’m just doing my job.” When asked again if he was aware of this, he acknowledged, “Yes, I know I have a lot of fans in India, but since I’m usually with the team in hotels, I don’t get to interact much with them.”
