Pakistan’s ODI Tri-Series Schedule Emerges

LAHORE: A proposed schedule for Pakistan’s upcoming three-nation ODI series featuring England and Sri Lanka has emerged, with the tournament expected to be played from October 18 to November 1, according to sources.

The proposed series will be staged in Rawalpindi and Lahore, with the first three matches scheduled for Rawalpindi before the action moves to Lahore for the remaining league fixtures and the final.

Proposed Match Schedule

According to the proposed itinerary, Rawalpindi is scheduled to host matches on October 18, 20 and 22.

The series will then move to Lahore, where matches are proposed for October 25, 27 and 29, followed by the final on November 1.

The three participating teams will be Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka. The series is part of Pakistan’s 2026-27 home cricket season, with the PCB having confirmed that England and Sri Lanka are due to feature in an ODI tri-series in October and November.

Schedule Yet to Be Finalised

Sources said the proposed schedule will be finalised after consultation among the three cricket boards, with an official announcement expected once the arrangements are completed.

Sri Lanka are also scheduled to play additional matches in Pakistan during the tour, including a three-match T20I series and two Tests. The venues and dates for those fixtures are also being coordinated.

The ODI tri-series will provide Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka with important competitive cricket ahead of the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
