LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dedicated Pakistan’s ODI against England in Lahore to breast cancer awareness, with the national team set to wear a special pink kit for the match.
Pakistan will wear the pink kit on October 25 as part of a joint breast cancer awareness initiative by the PCB and Pink Ribbon.
The PCB has also announced an auction of specially signed fan shirts. Shirts signed by Pakistan players Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam will be offered for auction, with the proceeds to be used for the treatment of women affected by breast cancer.
According to the PCB, the initiative aims to support women who cannot afford treatment costs while giving cricket fans an opportunity to obtain special memorabilia and contribute to efforts aimed at saving lives.
