KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange ended the week on a strong note, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 5,072 points amid sustained buying across the market.
The index closed at 176,094 points, reflecting positive investor sentiment during the trading week.
The KSE-100 moved within a range of around 4,511 points, reaching a weekly high of 179,123 and a low of 174,612.
Trading Volume Reaches 4.15 Billion Shares
A total of 4.15 billion shares changed hands during the week, with traded value reaching approximately Rs158 billion.
Market capitalisation also increased by Rs477 billion, rising to Rs19.755 trillion by the end of the week.
The weekly advance followed a positive close on the final trading day of July, when the KSE-100 Index gained 546 points.
The latest figures indicate continued momentum at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, supported by higher trading activity and a broad increase in market value.
