Pakistan has moved up one place to 197th in the latest FIFA men’s world football rankings.
According to the new rankings released by FIFA, Spain retained the top position, while Argentina remained second, France third and England fourth.
Portugal made the biggest move among the leading teams, climbing two places to fifth, while Brazil dropped one position to sixth. Morocco moved into seventh place.
Switzerland also improved by two places to reach 12th, while Germany remained 13th and Croatia 14th.
Greece recorded a five-place rise to reach 41st in the rankings.
Among African teams in the top 50, Mali and South Africa both climbed six places, moving to 47th and 48th respectively.
Other notable movers included the Dominican Republic, which climbed nine places to 135th, while Guyana rose eight places to 142nd.
Northern Ireland moved up six places to 64th, Estonia climbed five positions to 122nd, and Barbados also improved by five places to reach 174th.
Pakistan’s one-place rise comes as the national team continues its efforts to improve its position in the international football rankings.
