The maternal grandfather of Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has passed away.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed condolences over the death and offered its sympathies to Haris Rauf and his family.
In a statement posted on social media, the PCB said it extended its heartfelt condolences to Haris Rauf’s family and prayed for the forgiveness and eternal peace of the deceased.
Haris Rauf is part of Pakistan’s squad for the ongoing tri-nation series. In Pakistan’s opening match against Sri Lanka, he took two wickets for 48 runs.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Haris Rauf will participate in today’s match against England.
