MUSCAT, October 29, 2026: Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team has arrived in Oman to defend its title at the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup, with captain Farhan Yousaf leading the squad into the continental tournament.

The team departed from Karachi on Wednesday morning and will begin its campaign in Group A, where it is scheduled to face the United Arab Emirates, arch-rivals India and Nepal.

Pakistan’s Group Stage Schedule

Pakistan will open its campaign against the United Arab Emirates on November 6, followed by a highly anticipated clash against India on November 8. The defending champions will then take on Nepal on November 10 in their final group-stage match.

The schedule gives Pakistan three opportunities to secure a place in the knockout stage as the team seeks to retain its continental crown.

Semi-Finals and Final Dates Announced

According to the tournament schedule, both semi-finals will be played on November 12, while the final is scheduled for November 14.

Pakistan will be aiming to carry its previous success into this year’s competition and maintain its position among Asia’s leading youth cricket teams.

Pakistan Aim to Defend Their Title

Pakistan won the Under-19 Asia Cup in 2025 after defeating India by a commanding 191-run margin in the final.

That victory secured the title for Pakistan and set a strong benchmark for the next generation of players.

With Farhan Yousaf at the helm, the young Pakistani side will now look to build on that achievement and begin its title defence with a strong performance in Oman.
