The injured Pakistani opener has given his first statement regarding the Champions Trophy, saying, “Whatever is destined will always happen. I want everyone to pray and support the Pakistan team.”
Saim Ayub further said, “Our team is very strong and in good form. I am hopeful for great results in the Champions Trophy. I have complete faith in the Pakistan team.”
The opener also mentioned, “I was watching the live inauguration ceremony of Lahore Stadium. It was a fantastic event with excellent arrangements. Seeing the new ground made me happy, and I hope to get a chance to play there soon.”
