RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu separately congratulated Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Syed Aamer Raza on assuming command of the National Strategic Command during meetings held at their respective headquarters, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Aamer Raza first called on Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters before meeting Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

The naval and air chiefs congratulated General Aamer Raza on becoming the first Commander of the National Strategic Command and extended their best wishes for his new responsibilities.

The meetings also included discussions on matters of professional interest, ISPR said.

General Aamer Raza recently assumed command of the National Strategic Command, which oversees Pakistan’s strategic command structure.
