3rd Qamar Zaman All Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship concludes in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The 3rd Qamar Zaman All Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship, sponsored by the BARD and Markhor Squash Foundations, concluded with great enthusiasm at the Qamar Zaman Squash Complex, Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar, on the 24th of November. This was one of the largest national junior tournaments, with close to 40 lacs in prize money, and featured Girls’ Under-15 and Under-19 categories, along with Boys’ Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, attracting more than 400 young players from across the country.

Former Champions Attend National Junior Squash Championship

The National Junior Squash Championship was graced by former World Champion and Chairman of the KP Squash Association, Mr. Qamar Zaman, who attended as Chief Guest. Also present were Mr. Dawood Khan, President of the KP Squash Association and Secretary Public Health; squash legend Mr. Mohibullah Khan; Mr. Mansoor Zaman, General Secretary; and Mr. Wazir Muhammad, Finance Secretary of the KP Squash Association.

At the closing ceremony of the National Junior Squash Championship, Ms. Mehreen Dawood, Member of the Board of Governors, BARD Foundation, attended on behalf of the Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood Foundation (BARD), along with Mr. Hussain T. Hasan on behalf of the Markhor Squash Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Mehreen Dawood said,
