Abbottabad: Former Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly MPA Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani has said that the issue of the disappearance of the MRI machine in Ayub Medical Complex will be brought to its logical conclusion. The Press Club has played a very positive role in highlighting the problems of the city, for its improvement and well-being. The lack of land fund for the media colony of Abbottabad journalists will be met with the cooperation of the Chief Minister. He expressed these views while talking to the Press Club here on the occasion of congratulating the newly elected cabinet of Abbottabad Press Club and Union of Journalists.
On this occasion, President Abbottabad Press Club Sardar Naveed Alam, General Secretary Raja Munir Khan, Assistant Secretary General PFUJ Muhammad Shahid Chaudhry, and former General Secretary Sardar Muhammad Shafiq also spoke. Member Tehsil Council Sardar Sherdil Press Club and office bearers of the Union of Journalists cabinet were also present on the occasion. Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani said that Abbottabad Press Club held elections as per tradition to complete the democratic process and achieved success with mutual agreement and unity.
He has congratulated all the successful office bearers of Abbottabad Press Club and Union of Journalists from the bottom of his heart. He has said that the Press Club has never had any political relations with the journalists, but rather has been frank like brothers. The Press Club has always raised its voice for the good and improvement of the city. The alleged irregularities in Ayub Medical Complex have also come to light through the media. He has assured to provide funds for the land of the media colony of Abbottabad Press Club. Earlier, President Press Club Sardar Naveed Alam has appreciated the services of Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani for the constituency and also paid tribute to the patronage of Abbottabad Press Club and its work for the welfare and well-being of journalists. He informed the Abbottabad Press Club about the problems faced by the media colony and the lack of funds.
