Midas Communications Pakistan Clarifies No Association With Similar Named Entities

ISLAMABAD: Midas Communications Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (MCP) has clarified that it has no association, affiliation or business relationship with any other company or entity operating under a similar or identical name.

In a statement issued on Thursday, MCP Chief Executive Officer Nadeem Akbar said the company, which was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Islamabad, operates as an independent communications agency and has no connection with the directors, shareholders, management, employees, representatives or agents of any other similarly named entity.

Akbar stated that any business activities, disputes or legal proceedings involving such entities, including matters before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), courts, tribunals, regulatory bodies or government agencies, are solely their responsibility and have no link to Midas Communications Pakistan.

He said the company reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual or organization involved in misrepresentation, impersonation or unauthorized use of MCP’s name, identity or credentials.

The CEO advised clients, business partners and members of the public to verify the identity and credentials of the company before entering into any business arrangements or relying on claims made under the name of “Midas Communications Pakistan.”

The clarification comes as the company seeks to protect its identity and ensure that stakeholders distinguish MCP from other entities using similar names.
