Automaker unveils new HS Petrol alongside hybrid, EV and SUV lineup at ‘Experience More Karachi’

KARACHI, September 4: MG Motor Pakistan has introduced the All New MG HS Petrol in Karachi, expanding its HS lineup with a new petrol-powered variant as the automaker showcases its latest vehicles and technology in the Pakistani market.

The new model was unveiled at MG Pakistan’s “Experience More Karachi” event, which brought together customers, business partners, media representatives and automotive enthusiasts to experience the company’s latest products and mobility offerings.

The All New MG HS Petrol carries a listed price of PKR 8,999,999, while MG Motor Pakistan has announced a limited-time introductory price of PKR 8,799,999. The booking amount has been set at PKR 1.5 million.

MG Expands HS Lineup

The Karachi showcase featured MG’s expanding portfolio, including the HS Hybrid+, HS Super Hybrid and newly introduced HS Petrol.

The company also displayed the All New MG ZS range, MG4 Urban EV and MG U9, highlighting its growing presence across SUVs, hybrid vehicles, electric mobility and urban transportation.

MG said the broader HS lineup is now designed to give customers greater choice across petrol, hybrid and super-hybrid powertrains, catering to different driving preferences and requirements.

MG Showcases IM5 in Pakistan for First Time

A major highlight of the event was the IM5, which was showcased in Pakistan for the first time.

Although the model has not yet been introduced to the Pakistani market, MG said its presence offered visitors a glimpse into the brand’s evolving global design language, technology and future mobility direction.

The showcase also reflected the breadth of MG’s international product portfolio and its potential future offerings.

MG Pakistan Targets Premium Customer Experience

Speaking at the event, MG Motor Pakistan CEO Jianqiang Shao said Karachi’s openness to new ideas made it an appropriate location for the brand experience.

“Karachi is a city that has always embraced what is next, and we wanted to bring that spirit to tonight’s experience,” Shao said.

He said the addition of the HS Petrol to the company’s existing HS portfolio, along with the ZS range, MG4 Urban EV, MG U9 and IM5 showcase, demonstrated both MG’s current position and its future direction.

“We remain committed to bringing global technology, design and innovation closer to Pakistani customers,” he added.

The company said the “Experience More Karachi” event reflects its focus on a premium customer experience, with emphasis on performance, efficiency, safety, technology and design.

By bringing together its latest locally available products with a preview of its global portfolio, MG Motor Pakistan said the event marked another step in the brand’s expanding mobility presence in Pakistan.
