MARDAN, August 5: The District Administration Mardan organized a special ceremony and awareness walk at Pukhtunkhwa House on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, reaffirming solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Mardan Wasif Rehman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Jawad Ali, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Ahmed Sher Zaman Dogar, Additional Assistant Commissioners Maryam Barki and Shagufta Sarwar, along with officers and representatives from various government departments.
Tribute to Kashmir’s martyrs
Participants observed one minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of Kashmir. Students presented a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), patriotic songs, Kashmiri anthems, and speeches highlighting the sacrifices and resilience of the Kashmiri people.
The ceremony emphasized the significance of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir and expressed continued support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Awareness walk held in Mardan
Following the ceremony, an awareness walk was held from Pukhtunkhwa House, with participation from district administration officials, representatives of government departments, and members of the public.
Participants reiterated their solidarity with the people of Kashmir and chanted slogans expressing support for the Kashmiri cause.
