RAWALPINDI: The body of a lawyer was recovered from a car parked outside the Rawalpindi Judicial Complex on Wednesday, with police identifying the deceased as Advocate Sanaullah Satti.
Police said a heavy contingent immediately reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and cordoned off the area. Senior police officials, including the SP Rawalpindi, also arrived at the site as investigators began collecting evidence.
According to initial reports, the vehicle had been parked in the judicial complex’s lawyers’ parking area. Local reports said blood marks were found on the deceased’s clothes, while signs of violence were also reported. However, the exact circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been established.
Police have launched an investigation and are examining the incident from multiple angles. The body has been shifted to a hospital for a post-mortem examination, which is expected to help determine the precise cause and manner of death.
