Police have registered a murder case after a woman and her three children were found dead at a house in Lahore’s Valencia Town, as investigators continue to examine forensic evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

According to police, the victims were members of a family that had recently returned to Pakistan from the United States. Authorities said the case has been registered under murder charges, while the investigation remains ongoing.

Forensic Examination Underway

Police said investigators recovered food samples, including halwa, rice and curry that had reportedly been prepared on the day of the incident. The samples have been sent to a forensic laboratory to determine whether any toxic substance was present.

Officials said the findings of the forensic analysis will help establish the cause of death and clarify the sequence of events.

Investigators Collect Evidence

According to the preliminary investigation, police found no immediate signs of forced resistance inside the house.

Authorities have also sent the mobile phone of the detained head of the household for forensic analysis. Fingerprints were collected from utensils, a dressing table and door handles to determine whether anyone other than family members had entered the home.

Police said the investigation is continuing and that further details will be shared once forensic reports are completed.
