Court seeks police record and adjourns hearing until July 30 in kidnapping and alleged sexual assault case.
LAHORE: A sessions court in Lahore on Tuesday heard the post-arrest bail application of a suspect arrested in a case involving the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of two foreign women.
Additional Sessions Judge Rafaqat Ali Gondal presided over the hearing of the bail petition filed by the accused, Sajid Ali.
During the proceedings, the court directed the police to submit the case record and adjourned the hearing until July 30.
According to court proceedings, the case has been registered at Defence C Police Station in Lahore.
The allegations remain under investigation, and the court has not made any findings regarding the merits of the case.
