LAHORE: A Lahore family court has dismissed the khula petition filed by social media personality Dr Nabiha Ali after she withdrew her application, informing the court that she had resolved her differences with her husband.

The case was heard by a judge of the Lahore Family Court, where Advocate Mudassar Chaudhry, representing Dr Nabiha Ali, appeared on her behalf.

During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel informed the court that Dr Nabiha Ali and her husband had reached an amicable settlement regarding their marital issues.

The lawyer requested the court’s permission to withdraw the petition seeking a decree of khula.

Accepting the request, the court dismissed the petition on the basis that it had been voluntarily withdrawn.
