The Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has partnered with the Youth Development Alliance to organize a four-day youth empowerment camp aimed at strengthening leadership skills, promoting peacebuilding and encouraging civic engagement among young people.
Held in the scenic hill station of Naran, the Youth Empowerment and Peace Camp brought together 30 participants from across the province. The initiative focused on leadership development, climate change awareness, social responsibility and the role of youth in addressing community challenges.
Camp focuses on leadership and climate awareness
Speaking to the media, Hilal Uddin, founder of the Youth Development Alliance, said the Directorate of Youth Affairs KP played a key role in organizing the camp in collaboration with the organization.
He said participants attended sessions on leadership, peacebuilding, climate change and social issues while exploring how young people can contribute to positive social change.
The camp also featured practical activities, including discussions on climate change solutions, responsible use of social media, a cleanliness drive to promote environmental protection, and workshops designed to improve participants’ personal and professional skills.
Directorate praised for supporting youth initiatives
Hilal Uddin said the Directorate of Youth Affairs KP has consistently supported programs that empower young people and encourage their participation in constructive community activities.
He added that such initiatives help equip youth with the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to contribute positively to society.
The Youth Development Alliance thanked the Directorate of Youth Affairs KP for its continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding collaborative efforts aimed at engaging more young people in meaningful social and community development activities.
