PESHAWAR Ikramuddin, Chief Executive of Global Times Media Europe, has congratulated senior bureaucrat Abidullah Kakakhel on his appointment as Secretary Higher Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, expressing confidence in his administrative experience and ability to contribute to the province’s education sector.
In a congratulatory message, Ikramuddin welcomed the appointment and extended his best wishes to Kakakhel as he assumes his new responsibilities.
According to Global Times News Agency Europe, Kakakhel has held several important administrative positions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including assignments involving revenue administration, educational management and district governance.
He previously served as Director General of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), where his responsibilities included overseeing revenue collection, improving tax administration and monitoring revenue targets.
Kakakhel also performed administrative duties at the provincial Textbook Board, focusing on textbook printing, timely distribution and educational standards for students across the province.
In addition, he has served in various provincial government and district-level positions involving public administration, governance and development project monitoring.
Ikramuddin praised Kakakhel’s professional experience and described his appointment as a positive development for the Higher Education Department.
He expressed hope that Kakakhel would use his administrative expertise to strengthen institutional performance and contribute to improvements in higher education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Ikramuddin also offered prayers for Kakakhel’s success in his new role and wished him well in carrying out his responsibilities.
