ISLAMABAD, AI Geo Navigators, in collaboration with Air University, has launched HISAAB, an artificial intelligence-powered risk intelligence product designed to support disaster resilience and climate risk assessment across Pakistan.
The product was launched on October 13 at Air University in Islamabad to mark the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2026.
HISAAB aims to help organizations assess natural hazard and climate risks associated with properties and asset portfolios. It screens for hazards, including floods and earthquakes, and estimates potential financial losses in Pakistani rupees, helping users better understand their exposure to risk.
The platform is designed to support banks, insurance companies and property owners in identifying assets that may require further assessment and making informed decisions about risk management, asset protection and disaster preparedness.
The launch brought together representatives from academia, government, development organizations, disaster risk management, climate and water resources, the financial sector, private industry and the media.
Participating institutions and organizations included Fatima Jinnah Women University, International Islamic University, Islamic Relief and the Climate Resourcing Coordination Center (CRCC), among others.
Media organizations represented at the event included Aaj TV, Express News, ARY News, Dunya News, Daily Ausaf, Daily Nawaiwaqt, Environmental Magazine and Digital Platform, alongside other news outlets.
According to the announcement, HISAAB reflects AI Geo Navigators’ efforts to make natural hazard and climate risk information more accessible and useful for decision-makers. By translating risk assessments into potential financial impacts, the product aims to help organizations evaluate their exposure and make better-informed decisions about preparedness and asset protection.
The company said the launch marks another stage in its product development journey, with additional AI-powered solutions in the pipeline to address emerging challenges and support data-driven decision-making.
