MS/MPhil and PhD scholars can apply until August 14, 2026, for academic collaboration with leading Chinese universities.

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has invited applications from eligible MS/MPhil and PhD scholars for a six-month research placement in China under the CPEC Consortium of Universities (CCU).

The programme aims to strengthen academic collaboration between Pakistan and China by providing researchers with opportunities to work alongside leading Chinese universities in priority national and emerging fields.

According to the HEC, the initiative is designed to enhance research capacity, promote international collaboration, and support scholars in contributing to Pakistan’s higher education and research objectives.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to review the programme guidelines and submit their applications through the HEC portal.

The application deadline is August 14, 2026.
