ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has started collecting the second installment of Hajj dues from pilgrims selected under the government Hajj scheme, while making the upload of a medical fitness certificate mandatory before payment.

According to instructions issued by the ministry, all selected pilgrims can pay their second installment from October 5 to October 20, 2026.

The payment process has been kept fully digital. Pilgrims can submit their second installment through the Pak Hajj App and the Digital Hajj Portal, following the same procedure used for the previous payment.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs said the process for making any changes or amendments to the Hajj package has also been closed.

The ministry has clarified that pilgrims must upload a verified medical fitness certificate before depositing the second installment. Only those who upload the certificate through the Pak Hajj App or Digital Hajj Portal will be eligible to proceed with the payment.

The deadline for submitting the second installment has been set for October 20.

The ministry warned that failure to deposit the required amount by the deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the applicant’s Hajj application.

In case of cancellation, all dues already deposited by the applicant will be transferred back to the concerned pilgrim’s account.

Pilgrims have been advised to upload their medical fitness certificates and complete payment within the prescribed period to keep their Hajj applications valid.
