KARACHI, Tuesday, July 28, 2026: Gold and silver prices declined in Pakistan after rising for two consecutive days, following a sharp drop in the international bullion market.
The price of gold in the global market fell by $43 per ounce, settling at $4,050.
The international decline was reflected in Pakistan’s local bullion market, where the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs4,300 to Rs427,436.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs3,687, reaching Rs366,457.

Silver Prices Also Decline
Silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market on Tuesday.
The price of silver per tola fell by Rs174 to Rs6,223, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs149 to Rs5,335.
The latest decline brought a pause to the recent upward trend in precious metal prices in both local and international markets.
Gold prices in Pakistan generally track movements in the international bullion market, alongside changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate, local demand and domestic market conditions.
