Gold Prices Rise as Pakistan Bullion Market Tracks Global Gains

Gold prices moved higher in both international and domestic markets on Saturday, with Pakistan’s local bullion market recording modest gains in line with global trends. The increase came at the close of the trading week, while silver prices in the local market declined.

According to bullion market data, the rise in international gold prices was reflected in Pakistan’s domestic rates, pushing up the value of both per tola and 10-gram gold.

Global gold price rises

In the international bullion market, the price of gold increased by $3 per ounce, reaching $4,053 per ounce.

Market participants said the movement in global prices influenced domestic gold rates in Pakistan.

Pakistan gold prices

In local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs300 to Rs427,736.

The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs257, settling at Rs366,714.

Silver prices decline

Unlike gold, silver prices recorded a slight decline in Pakistan’s local market.

The price of silver per tola fell by Rs12 to Rs6,297, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs10 to Rs5,398.
