Gold Price in Pakistan Falls by Rs1,000 per Tola on Wednesday, July 29, 2026; Silver Rates Rise

KARACHI, Wednesday, July 29, 2026: Gold prices declined in Pakistan for a second consecutive session on Wednesday, while silver moved higher in both international and domestic bullion markets.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,000 per tola to Rs426,436, compared with Rs427,436 on Tuesday. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs857 to Rs365,600.

In the international bullion market, gold slipped by $10 per ounce to $4,040, extending the downward trend recorded a day earlier.

On Tuesday, July 28, gold had posted a much steeper fall of Rs4,300 per tola after the international rate dropped by $43 per ounce.

Silver prices, however, reversed the previous session’s decline. The international silver rate increased by 68 cents to $58.12 per ounce.

In Pakistan, silver gained Rs68 per tola to reach Rs6,291, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs58 to Rs5,393.

The latest movement shows a widening divergence between the two precious metals, with gold remaining under pressure while silver recovered in the global and local markets.
