KARACHI: Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan on Saturday after rising for two consecutive sessions, as the international bullion rate dropped by $37 per ounce at the end of the trading week.
The price of 24-karat gold declined by Rs3,700 per tola to Rs426,736, reversing Friday’s Rs3,000 increase that had pushed the rate to Rs430,436 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,172 to Rs365,857, compared with Rs369,029 recorded on Friday.

Silver Price Also Declines
Silver moved lower in the international market, falling by 57 cents to $57.58 per ounce.
In Pakistan, the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs49 to Rs5,347.
